Ordination to the Priesthood of Fr Charles Randall CSsR

Fr Charles Randall CSsR was ordained to the Priesthood on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception in St Mary’s Redemptorists Church in Clapham, London.

The Ordaining Bishop was Rt Rev Ralph Heskett CSsR, Bishop of Hallam.

Bishop Ralph had been Fr Charles’ Postulant Director at the beginning of his formation as a Redemptorist.

The Gift of an Icon from Br Max CSsR

The extremely gifted Icon writer, Br Massimiliano Mura CSsR, a student from the Roman Province, presented an Icon of Blessed Maria Celeste Crostarosa OSsR to the Clapham community.

Blessed Maria Celeste Crostarosa is the foundress of our Redemptoristine Nuns OSsR, and was an important figure in our own history and early formation.

Br Max had been staying with the community for three months getting his already excellent English up to be an even higher standard. The community was extremely grateful for this precious gift and it will be blessed on Friday when the community will gather for a Day of Recollection.

Please pray for our Novices who make First Profession on the 15th August 2016

Br Roston Price, Fr Ray Douziech (Novice Master) and Br Michael Taylor Your prayers are asked for our two novice brothers who are preparing to make their first profession on Monday 15th August. They have just finished the Noviciate in Canada where there were 8 novices in formation. On Monday Br Michael and Br Royston will make the vows of Poverty, Chastity and Obedience. If any of you are around and can come to Bishop Eton Monastery L16 8NQ you will be most welcome. Nonetheless, where ever you are, please pray for these two men making this wonderful step in their Religious and Spiritual lives. May the Lord enrich them in their poverty May the Lord love them in their Chastity May the Lord embolden them in their Obedience
