Year of Mercy Holy Door Walk Saturday 5th March

5 Redemptorists, (aged between 28 and 81 years!) 80 Parishioners, 2 Religious Banners and the Icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour went on a walk through London to our Cathedral Church of St George’s in Southwark where they all went through the Holy Door.

As one pilgrim said of the moment….

“It was a truly wonderful religious experience! We ourselves prayed and sang, and many others watched us go by – what they were thinking perhaps we’ll never know, but our presence surely made them think and perhaps question!”
